What is Early Bird Fishing's return policy?

You are welcome to return anything that was purchased from Early Bird Fishing - both new and sale items.

If you are not satisfied with one of our products at the time you receive it, or if one of our products does not perform to your satisfaction, return it within 45 days. Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable.

When will I get my order?

After your payment is verified, most orders ship within 1 - 3 business days from our warehouse. All estimated delivery times are calculated after the order has been processed and shipped.

What is the Fisherman's Promise™ 5-Year Guarantee?

A fisherman’s gear is only as good as its reliability. We build our products to weather the storm, but if your gear fails due to a manufacturing defect, we’re committed to making it right.

The First Year: Full Replacement
If your product shows a defect in materials or craftsmanship within the first 12 months, we will replace it at no cost to you.

Years 2 through 5: 50% Store Credit
If a structural defect appears between Year 2 and Year 5, we will issue you a 50% Store Credit (based on your original purchase price) that can be used towards any new purchase at Early Bird Fishing.

What We Cover: Broken adjustment straps, failing snaps, unraveling seams, or logos coming loose.

What We Don't Cover: Fading, water stains, or discoloration. Small frays or thinning fabric from years of heavy use. Damage from animals or washing machines.

How should I clean my hat?

Submerge the hat in a basin of cool water with mild detergent for 15 to 30 minutes (up to 60 minutes for heavy salt stains). Use a soft-bristled brush to gently clean the sweatband and stains, taking care not to pill technical mesh or overstretch beanie knits.

After rinsing with cool water, do not wring the fabric; instead, pat out excess moisture with a towel and air-dry. To preserve the fit, stuff the crowns of structured hats like snapbacks with a small towel, while laying beanies and boonies flat to prevent them from stretching out of shape.
