Early Bird Fishing was born in Santa Monica, CA, but the story starts much farther north. I grew up fishing the waters of the Pacific Northwest. Rain or shine, it was always about showing up early and staying out late.

After years of wearing hats that looked okay but failed on the water, too sweaty, too floppy, too easy to lose to the wind, I decided to build something better.

We’re a bootstrapped company focused on performance, not flash. We source premium materials, sweat the details, and test everything ourselves, on the ocean, in the mountains, and anywhere the bite is hot.

This isn’t about fashion. It’s about function that looks damn good.
